OPPO Kenya has launched the Reno16 Series in the country, with two models: the Reno16 5G at KSh 79,999 and the Reno16 F 5G at KSh 69,999. Preorders run from 26 October to 4 November 2026 at OPPO stores, authorised dealers and e-commerce platforms. Buyers receive earbuds, a power bank and a three month Google AI subscription as gifts.
Two models, two screen sizes
The Reno16 5G has a 6.32 inch display that OPPO says suits use with one hand. It sits in an aluminium frame that the company describes as aerospace grade. The Reno16 F 5G has a 6.57 inch display for video, social media and editing. Both phones come in Pop White and Twilight Violet.
| Model | Display | Price (KSh) | Colours |
|---|---|---|---|
| OPPO Reno16 5G | 6.32 inch | 79,999 | Pop White, Twilight Violet |
| OPPO Reno16 F 5G | 6.57 inch | 69,999 | Pop White, Twilight Violet |

The 3D Pop Planet design
OPPO built the series around a design it calls 3D Pop Planet, which draws on space imagery and the idea of each person as a small planet. Fredrique Achieng, PR Manager at OPPO Kenya, said the design reflects how buyers use phones to express themselves.
“Design has become an important part of how people express their individuality, and with the Reno16 Series, we wanted to bring that expression to life through a smartphone that stands out,” she said.
She added that the design pairs creativity with careful craftsmanship. “It gives Kenyan consumers a device that is as distinctive in appearance as it is expressive of their personal style.”
The Pop White edition uses what OPPO calls HoloVerse 3D Technology. The company says millions of micro lenses rebuild light on the back panel, so the nebula pattern appears to float above the surface and shifts as the phone moves.
A single cold-sculpted back cover runs into the camera module. OPPO says the join cuts the dust that gathers around the camera.

Where the series sits in OPPO’s Kenya lineup
The Reno range has come to Kenya each year. Khusoko covered the Reno10 series launch in 2023, when Achieng also spoke for the company, and the Reno13 series launch in February 2025, when the series started at KSh 37,999. The Reno16 F 5G now starts at KSh 69,999. For more launches and store openings, see Khusoko’s OPPO Kenya coverage.
Closing
Buyers have until 4 November to preorder at the listed prices and claim the gifts. OPPO Kenya has not said when the phones reach shelves outside the preorder window.
