As Cadbury celebrates a remarkable 200 years of delighting chocolate lovers worldwide, the brand is commemorating this milestone in Kenya with a heartwarming campaign titled “Yours for Generations.”

Founded in 1824 by John Cadbury, Cadbury has become synonymous with quality and generosity, earning a special place in Kenyan homes for over seven decades.

The campaign launch event, held at Shamba Events in Loresho, Nairobi, served as a platform for Kenyans to revisit and share their most cherished memories associated with Cadbury chocolates.

From celebrating academic achievements with a bar of Cadbury Dairy Milk to enjoying Lunchbar with friends, the campaign emphasizes Cadbury’s presence in Kenyan celebrations and everyday moments.

“For over seven decades, Cadbury has become more than just a chocolate brand in Kenya; it has become a cherished staple in Kenyan homes,” said Motsamai Pule, Mondelez International Marketing Lead for Rest of Africa (ROA), during the launch. “This journey has been filled with moments that celebrate generosity, strengthen family ties, and create unforgettable memories.”

The event featured the Cadbury Gallery Exhibition, an immersive experience showcasing the brand’s rich history through captivating memorabilia and interactive installations.

Adding a personal touch, popular Kenyan influencers like Caroline Mutoko, Timothy Kimani (Njugush), and Murugi Munyi shared their heartwarming Cadbury stories, inspiring others to do the same.

Sharing #CadburyMemories

As part of the #CadburyMemories celebration, these influencers and others will be sharing their cherished Cadbury experiences on their social media platforms.

The “Yours for Generations” campaign invites all Kenyans to participate by sharing their own Cadbury stories on the Cadbury Africa website (www.cadbury.africa) through text, voice notes, images, or videos. These stories will be curated and shared on social media, creating a collective tapestry of how Cadbury has impacted Kenyan lives.
