Ms Susan Nsibirwa, a marketing and communications consultant, has been named by Nation Media Group-Uganda (NMG-U) as the new Managing Director for Monitor Publications (MPL) effective from January 2, 2024. 

She will replace Mr. Tony Glencross.

Susan Nsibirwa will lead MPL, The East African and Africa Broadcasting (U) Limited (the broadcasting company that operates NTV Uganda and Spark TV) to achieve their strategic goals, business plans and performance targets, and to create value for shareholders.

“She also has proven experience in successfully implementing strategic corporate social responsibility programs and crisis management plans. She brings expertise in communication, business strategy, and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders,” the Nation Media Group said in a public notice.

Ms. Nsibirwa has over twenty-five years of experience in marketing and communications, with fifteen years in senior executive roles in various industries. 

She has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Nicosia, Cyprus, and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Makerere University.

According to Susan, she is “An avid team player who believes in bringing out the best in everyone. My mantra is “Making a positive difference every day”. My most important future contribution to others is my time, resources and experiences. Conceptualizing ideas and solutions brings out the best in me.”
