The National Treasury through the central bank will sell a 25-year amortized infrastructure bond this month to raise up to Ksh 50 billion over a 2-week sale period beginning 1st March. This is the longest issue since June 2018. The bond will be auctioned on March 20, will come with a coupon of 12.200%. It will be tax-free in line with the government’s policy of encouraging investors to bank infrastructure bonds. YouTube is disabling all comments on videos featuring young children in an attempt to protect minors from an organised ring of pedophiles. “These efforts are focused on videos featuring young minors and we will continue to identify videos at risk over the next few months. Massmart Holdings Ltd , one of South Africa retailers eyes Kenya in its expansion plans dubbed ‘Grow Africa” between 2019 and 2021. The retailer made the announcement on Thursday after reporting reported a 31.7% fall in full-year earnings for the period ending 30 December 2018.
