Kenyans will no longer need to book appointments to collect their passports says the Directorate of Immigration Services.
“This change streamlines the process and eliminates a source of frustration for many Kenyans,” a Directorate spokesperson stated.
Further , we have simplified the process of passport delivery: applicants are no longer required to book for appointment to collect passports.

The Directorate has also established a dedicated team to handle complaints efficiently. Kenyans can now raise any issues related to passport collection through the Immigration Department’s social media channels, where they will receive prompt attention.
Additionally, complaints can be emailed directly to info@immigration.go.ke.
President William Ruto further announced that passport processing times will be significantly reduced. Kenyans can now expect to receive their passports within one week of applying.
“This will create more opportunities for Kenyans seeking work abroad,” President Ruto explained, highlighting the increasing demand for Kenyan workers internationally.
