Kenya Airways has honoured Caroline Ndonga, a distinguished station manager, by naming one of its newest Boeing 737 aircraft in her honour.
With a robust background in aviation and hospitality management, Ndonga’s leadership and operational expertise have earned her this prestigious recognition.
“Not just our Burundi Station Manager, but a force of resilience, safety, and unwavering leadership. Today, her name soars on the side of our newest B737, honouring a woman who keeps us grounded while helping us fly higher. Because some names deserve the skies,” Kenya Airways stated.
As station manager, Ndonga oversees operations at the Burundi station, bringing her extensive experience from roles such as Supervisor of Operations at Kenya Airways. She has been with KQ for 17 years.
Her educational credentials include studies in aviation and airway management, complemented by a diploma in hospitality management from Utalii College, equipping her with a strong foundation in both operational and customer service excellence.
Kenya Airways, the flag carrier of Kenya, operates a fleet of 33 aircraft serving 44 destinations from its hub at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi.
A member of the SkyTeam alliance, the airline is committed to sustainability and efficiency through initiatives like Project Kifaru, which focuses on long-term viability and environmental responsibility.
This honour underscores Kenya Airways’ commitment to recognising exceptional talent and leadership within its ranks, as Ndonga’s name now takes flight, symbolising her enduring impact on the airline’s success.
