OPPO launched its Reno 13 series 5G in Kenya on Friday, featuring the Reno 13 F 5G (Plum Purple and Graphite Grey) and the Reno 13 F (Graphite Grey and Skyline Blue).
These devices integrate generative AI features, including summary, rewrite, reply, and circle-to-search functionalities, as well as AI enhancements in photography.

AI Camera Enhancements
The Reno13 series integrates flagship-level camera systems with AI enhancements. The Reno13 Pro features a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom, and AI-driven imaging tools. Both models include AI Livephoto, capable of capturing 2K clarity images and creating AI-enhanced GIFs and portraits. Additional AI tools such as AI Clarity, AI Unblur, and AI Reflection Remover are also included.
Underwater Photography
The IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings support underwater photography, allowing users to capture images in wet conditions with AI adjustments for accurate colors and contrast.
120Hz OLED Display
Both the Reno13 and Reno13 Pro feature a 1.5K OLED ProXDR display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,200 nits peak brightness. The Reno13 Pro has a 6.83-inch display, while the Reno13 has a 6.59-inch screen.
MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Chipset
The Reno13 Series is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, which OPPO claims offers a 60% performance boost and 55% greater efficiency compared to its predecessors.
80W SUPERVOOC Fast Charging
OPPO Reno13 Series smartphones support 80W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge. The Reno13 includes a 5600mAh battery, and the Reno13 Pro has a 5800mAh battery, both designed for long-lasting battery life and rapid recharging.
ColorOS 15 and AI Productivity Tools
The Reno13 Series runs on ColorOS 15, featuring AI-powered productivity tools, including document summaries and AI-driven translation. The new Tap-to-Share feature facilitates seamless sharing of Livephotos across devices.
