Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management solutions, has donated vital electrical training equipment to Don Bosco Kakuma, a school within the Kakuma Refugee Camp in Kenya.
This generous contribution will empower students with the skills and knowledge they need to become qualified electricians.
The donated equipment includes:
- Drives
- Professional low-voltage switchboard for training in installing, maintaining, and upgrading various circuit breakers
- Electrical fault locating kits
- Short-circuit protection and earth leakage equipment for training on safety systems against electrocution
- Hands-on learning materials are directly applicable to real-world scenarios.
This donation will provide 2,000+ students at Don Bosco Kakuma with the opportunity to gain valuable technical skills and prepare for successful careers in the electrical field. It will also contribute to the resilience and development of the Kakuma Refugee Camp community.
