P&L Consulting, a Nairobi-based C-Suite advisory firm, has officially launched its operations in Tanzania, a vibrant and growing market in East Africa.

This move marks a significant milestone in the firm’s 10-year journey of providing strategic communication and advisory services to clients across various sectors.

The firm’s expansion to Tanzania is driven by the country’s promising economic outlook, which is projected to reach a GDP growth rate of around 6 per cent by 2025, according to the World Bank.

Tanzania’s private sector is leading the way in creating jobs, innovating, paying taxes, and promoting fair competition. The country also boasts a low and stable inflation rate, which has been declining since the beginning of 2023.

Mercy Randa, the founder and CEO of P&L Consulting, said, “We are excited to tap into the opportunities that Tanzania’s booming private sector offers and to contribute to the country’s economic development with our unwavering commitment to fostering effective communication.”

P&L Consulting has established its presence in Dar es Salaam, the commercial hub of Tanzania, and has already secured Airtel Tanzania as its first client in the country. The firm has a proven track record of executing successful projects in the region from its Nairobi office and has received multiple industry awards, including the Public Relations Campaign of the Year 2022 in Kenya and several SABRE awards on the African PR industry stage.

The firm specializes in areas such as crisis and litigation communication, investor relations, and public policy and has expertise in sectors such as aviation, development, energy and mining, finance, health, ICT, manufacturing, and real estate.

P&L Consulting aims to achieve sustained growth by leveraging insights and data to enhance its advisory services, positioning itself as a boutique advisory firm at the forefront of industry excellence.
