Kenya Airways commences the implementation of a cashless system at the Moi International Airport in Mombasa and the Kisumu International Airport.

“The implementation of a cashless system helps to support the customer shift and preference to a cashless transaction and will ease cash collection and reconciliation issues at the airports ensuring efficient services to customers,” KQ said in a notice on Tuesday.

According to the airline, payments will now only be accepted through debit or credit cards and other online payment apps.

Guests can choose from alternative payment options, including Credit/Debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, Union Pay) or M-pesa.

Kenya Airways, a member of the Sky Team Alliance, is a leading African airline flying to 41 destinations worldwide, 34 of which are in Africa, and carries over four million passengers annually.

Kenya Airways offers services Cargo services to key locations including London, Amsterdam, Guangzhou, Sharjah, Mumbai, and over 25 intra-Africa routes in addition to its passenger network.
