Supersport will broadcast the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games on 8 dedicated channels starting on July 23.

SuperSport in its true style and commitment will curate the best events and top in world-class sports from across the globe live and in HD to viewers on DStv and GOtv.

Head of Marketing Celeste Muli Wednesday said SuperSport will rename eight channels on the existing SuperSport line-up that will be specifically dedicated 24 hours a day to broadcasting the Olympic games.

On DStv, the Olympics channels will be renamed SuperSport Olympic 1, SuperSport Olympic 2, SuperSport Olympic 3, SuperSport Olympic 4, SuperSport Olympic 5, SuperSport Olympic 6, SuperSport Olympic 7 and SuperSport Olympic 8 respectively.  

Some channels will be available in HD and SD on DStv.

GOtv channels will all transmit in SD.
