Regional low-cost carrier Jambojet on Tuesday announced a flexible payment scheme called ‘Jaza pole pole’ under which passengers will have to pay as low as  Ksh 2,670 per person the total fare amount at the time of booking.

Passengers can pay the remaining balance in “three instalments” for bookings made at least 60 days in advance under this scheme, Jambojet said in a press release.

“Passengers are required to complete paying for their tickets within 21 days prior to the date of travel to any of Jambojet’s destinations,” the statement reads.

Passengers using this platform will have up to two hours to make any changes to their booking after the initial deposit has been made.

60 days prior to travel 50% of the price of a ticket
30 days prior to travel 90% of the price of a ticket
21 days prior to travel 100% of the price of a ticket

“We are continuously innovating to provide our customers with products and services that are tailor-made to offer flexible, convenient and affordable travel. We understand the tough economic times and would want to ensure we cushion our customers so that they are still able to travel when they want to,” said Karanja Ndegwa, Acting Managing Director, Jambojet.

Jambojet currently flies to seven destinations from its hub in Nairobi – Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to Kigali, Entebbe, Mombasa, Eldoret, Kisumu, Malindi and Ukunda (Diani).
