Telkom Kenya has appointed Mugo Kibati as its Chief executive taking over from Aldo Mareuse. International passenger traffic growth in Africa has improved by 6.0% measured in revenue passenger kilometers (RPKs) in September, down from 6.8% in August according to the latest data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA). Kenya is one of the 12 African nations chosen by Spanish retailer Inditex SA (ITX.MC) that its flagship brand Zara will launch a new platform bringing its fashions to customers. Most of these new markets are in Africa and include Angola, Cameroon, Congo, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Kenya, Mali, Mozambique, Namibia, Tanzania, Madagascar, Zimbabwe and Ghana, among others.
