KenGen, Kenya’s biggest electricity producer, reported a 9 per cent increase in profit before tax of 7.5 billion shillings for the half-year period ended December 31, 2021, from 6.9 billion shillings which were recorded during a similar period in 2020. Net revenue increased just 1.3 per cent to stand at 5.1 billion shillings from 5 billion shillings the previous half of 2020. Pay-TV service provider, Multichoice denies allegations that it is trying to demolish its proposed Kenya Offices along Oloitoktok Road, Kileleshwa contrary to the law. The proposed MultiChoice Kenya offices of which Cementers Limited was the contractor, is being demolished pursuant to Enforcement Notices issued by the County Government of Nairobi Multichoice said.
