The Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) has announced a new monetary policy framework that aims to improve its ability to achieve its inflation target and support economic growth. According to a Dispatch from Cabinet on Tuesday, the programme involves leasing the sugar companies to improve their productivity and profitability.
