Dominic Ongwen, a former Ugandan child soldier and rebel commander, has been moved to a Norwegian prison to serve his 25-year sentence for war crimes and crimes against humanity. Ongwen was convicted by the International Criminal Court (ICC) in 2021 for his role in atrocities committed by the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) in northern Uganda between 2002 and 2005.
