The first Polish plane – Lot Polish Charter – made its maiden landing in Mombasa with 252 tourists on Saturday a boon to Kenya’s tourism sector.
Kenya Tourism Federation chairman Mohamed Hersi said “Mombasa is honored to welcome Lot Polish Airlines Charter aircraft by Tui Poland. Flying a Dreamliner to Mombasa is a clear testimony that Destination Mombasa and Kenya Coast is back in business.”

The charter will fly to Mombasa twice a week translating to about 500 visitors to the Kenyan coast every week.

Lot Polish Charter airline was granted landing rights for flights from Warsaw via Cyprus to Mombasa in 2017.
The service to Mombasa will use a Boeing B737-800NG, of which the company operates 11 with an additional Boeing B737-400 also on the fleet.
