CFAO Mobility Kenya, the Toyota dealer, has acquired Michelin’s 49% stake in Tyre Distribution Africa (TYDIA), becoming the sole distributor of Michelin and BFGoodrich tyres in East Africa.
This strategic acquisition significantly expands CFAO Mobility Kenya’s presence in the automotive sector, strengthening its tyre distribution network across the region.
TYDIA has a strong reputation for supplying high-quality tyres for passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and construction equipment.
The acquisition will enable CFAO Mobility Kenya to improve the availability of Michelin and BFGoodrich tyres in wholesale and retail markets. TYDIA’s existing infrastructure will be leveraged to reach a broader customer base.
