OPPO has unveiled its latest flagship smartphone series, the Find X8, for the global market. The company is planning to introduce this series to the Kenyan market soon.
A Focus on Photography
The Find X8 series is primarily a camera-centric lineup. The base model boasts a triple-camera setup on the rear, featuring:
- A 50MP main camera with OIS and 2x optical zoom
- A 50MP 73mm periscope telephoto camera with OIS, dual-prism technology, and 3x optical zoom (6x digital zoom)
- A 50MP 15mm ultrawide camera with a 120-degree field of view and AI super-resolution up to 120x zoom
Both the rear and 32MP front-facing cameras can record 4K video at 60fps. OPPO’s HyperTone image engine enhances clarity and dynamic range, while Hasselblad Portrait Mode and Live Photo are included.
Powerful Performance and Sleek Design
The Find X8 is powered by the Dimensity 9400 processor, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The device runs on ColorOS 15 based on Android 15.
The 6.59-inch LTPO OLED display offers a 120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, and up to 4500 nits of peak brightness. The device is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and is IP68/69 rated for water and dust resistance.
